•A group organized for such a trip or for a shorter sightseeing excursion.
•A brief trip to or through a place for the purpose of seeing it.
•A journey to fulfill a round of engagements in several places.
The Lotus Elise boot is limited to 50kgs of weight, but has a useful 115 litres of space. With fore thought that’s more than enough space for two people to pack for upto a fortnight and still leave enough space for those essential tools.
The car was designed for the track and country road driving, but is surprisingly adaptable into a tourer – albeit with the loss of creature comforts. With numerous Cannonball and Coastal Runs in my past, myattention now on Touring, taking the car and myself to far away places, taking in the roads for which the car was designed for - and if a track turns up on the route, all the better.
